“I never got the idea behind designer apparels. I always thought they're just an expensive version of something that you can buy in a store for a cheaper price.

I then stumbled upon SAA. The designer that fused our unique Indian materials and designs with western outfits. It was outright beautiful. I immediately jumped in on it and asked if a customized bomber jacket like that was possible. SAA - of course, yes!

And I for one always went with solids for my apparels. So getting a traditional abstract Indian print on a bomber jacket with a lining that looks absolutely classy, was out of my comfort zone. But I stuck to Ashaa's recommendations because this is - a "designer" jacket. And that was the BEST decision in the customization process. I honestly couldn't keep my eyes off the lining (the inner side of the jacket)!

And for the price? It's the same as the store bought jacket I gave for size reference, which is truly amazing. And the value of feeling that you're wearing something that nobody else in the world owns? Irreplaceable ❤️

In the past year, SAA (Ashaa) has designed two different pieces for me for two very special occasions. She made a beautiful, boho-chic lehenga for my wedding mehendi and a very classic, brocade benarsi material paavadai for Pongal.
